Gong Xi Fa Cai / Happy Chinese New Year 2010~



According to chinese asrrology, the year 2010 is the year of the Tiger. Which is also known by its formal name '' Geng Yin ''. It will be held on the 14th of February (Sunday), which is St Valentine's Day. So it is a day West Celebrates as a Lovers' day, a day of romance.



For chinese the colour red equals prosperity and happiness. New clothes are often bought to wear especially for New Year and other important parts of the celebration is fireworks and angpaw (the red envelopes)
